Arizona:Between an Immigrant and A Hard Place
Arizona has a huge problem, and the new immigration law isn't it. Its definitely a big part of their problem but the bigger more pertinent problem they have is how to protect their citizens from the chaos that spilling over from the Mexican Drug Wars Yes the law is discriminatory and is opening the door for racial and ethic profiling, and its overreaching but Arizona needed to do something, and if that means a few feelings are hurt and a couple of liberal college students bail on the state FINE. Either come up with something that can solve the violence spilling over the border or deal. And if illegal immigrants are causing the problem, something has to be done. Every grown person should be walking around with some form of ID, and if not, chances are you are here illegally. And of course not all illegal immigrants are here deal drugs or involved in violence, but they are still an illegal and that is a violation of our laws and they should be handled accordingly.

Supreme Court:Black Woman For 500 Alex?
Ok.Ok. Here we go. There has to be a black woman in this country qualified to sit on the court. I know he'll choose wisely from the wide range of qualified black woman. Lets see what Obama has up his sleeve. I know what everyone is speculating but thats just speculation right? The president has his own mind, he will not be influenced partisan party politics..right?

Lets Hope He Still...CAN
When it was first announced that Obama would become the first African American president elect of the United States, I cried. I remember being at work, seeing him win California, and knowing that was it, we had our first black president. Everyone was happy, people crying in the street, white and black college students here in Atlanta crying and hugging it was beautiful. But for me, after he was sworn, the celebrating was over. He was no longer the first african american president, he was simply a president and now was time to govern. I was still excited for him and anxious to see what he'd do, but the party was over. Two wars, an economy in the tank, it was time to get to work. I had high hopes. A 60 seat majority in the house, 70% approval rating, what could go wrong? And after his first year in office, my answer is... EVERYTHING. Instead of going full speed ahead with a plan for jobs, he throws a stimulus bill at the problem that didnt work. Tried to do too many things that didnt work. And focused mainly on healthcare and cap and trade, which is now dead and hes lost seats. The american people are freaking out, his ratings are in the tank, and NOTHING GOT DONE. He didnt even close Guantanomo. Which I dont agree with, but thats beside the point. Could you imagine what Reagan, Clinton, or even Bush could have done with a sixty seat majority? Maybe this first year was Obama's learning curve, I surely hope so, for the sake of his presidency.

Cut The Loose Ends Obama
Americans love a good asshole. Except we dont call them "assholes" we call them "strong-willed" "fighters" "steadfast". By the end of his first term most Americans didnt like Bush. We thought he was an asshole, and he was, but the country respected him. He did things we despised. He invaded our privacy, veto'd bills, even went to war with the wrong country! But he never waivered. He did what HE thought was right(or Dick Cheney..depends on who you ask). He wanted the country to go to war, WE WENT TO WAR. Didn’t matter if it was the right decision, right country, or right cause. Off to war we went. Executive Orders? Ordered them. Is Congress reaaaally needed to declar war? Dont need'em. Obama is indecisive at best, and a completely out of touch academic liberal at worst. Do I think Obama’s in on a plot to ruin America? No, of course not. Do I believe hes out of touch and tone deaf to the demonstrative anger of the American public? Absolutely!
One of the biggest issues I have with Obama's first year in office is his refusal to fire people who are cleary jeopardizing not only the modus operandi of his adminstration, but also the perpection of his admistration. Why is he so relucatant to fire some of the cleary inadequate in his administration? Eric Holder? Janet Napolitano? Desiree Rogers?? Tim Geithner? Rahm Emanuel? AND WHAT THE HELL DOES VALERIE JARRETT ACTUALLY DO??!
I say fire the cronies from Chicago before they sink the entire ship. Or else all of you will be leaving the White House, they cronies of a one term president, you a one term president and the weight of a legacy that goes with it.
Next Up: Obama chose to focus on healthcare his first year instead of the economy..and why I think it was the costliest mistake of his presidency. Wowzers.
